"Fantastic location, in the Old Town, but just, which means that the Taxi can drop you quite close to the accommodation, without you having to drag your bags miles through the Old Town cobbled lanes. Being in the old town you are surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, supermarkets, even laundromats. We were travelling with our adult son, so having two bedrooms each with its own ensuite + a large open plan living/dining/lounge was perfect. Nicely decorated."

"Of course the down-side of being in the Old Town is that the late evening revellers are quite loud going past the room….. but this is more than off-set by the convenience. The entry was a bit tricky at first, through a dingy hallway and up a small flight of stairs, but we quickly got used to it."

"We had a great stay at Chez Collette. David is an exceptionally organised and helpful host, providing clear entrance instructions in advance and even arranging for us to access the apartment earlier than planned. He also followed up with a phone call to ensure everything was in order, which was much appreciated. The apartment itself was spotless, well-presented, and perfectly located in the heart of old Nice—ideal for exploring the area. However, one challenge was finding the entrance, as the building has no visible name and only the street name to go by. A photo of the entrance in the listing would be very helpful. Overall, a lovely stay with a fantastic host, but light sleepers may want to bring earplugs!"

While the building and the building entrance look extremely old (which is expected for the area) and a little scary at the first sight, the apartment itself is very nice, modern, clean and well equipped. Also, David, the host was very nice, communicative and willing to help with anything."
